Coffee Time (with Fii)

The view

Sorry about my stupid faces

On my way home

How are you, my dear readers? Preparing yourselves to leave this year and start a new one with strenght, new and better goals and dreams, I'm sure.

I've been thinking about the fact the time flies really fast. We're about to enter in 2012, guys! The dreaded "Final Year" for what they say! It drives me crazy. Not the "Final Year" thing, but the passing of time I mean.
I won't talk about that right now because, trust me, you'd have a big argumentative text here.

Anyway, I wish you all the most beautiful, the brightest, the happiest New Year ever. And take the motto "Live each day as it's the last one" by word. Do it, for real! Have fun, Travel with your best friend, Laugh until you cry with your friends, go surfing and snowboarding, try something for the first time, be who you want to be, make someone smile, say "I love you" to your family... JUST LIVE!

Love you all

Christmas Eve

(Me and My cousin: Inês)

Little brother

Middle brother and Megs

So, until here it was all about meeting each other and dinner. Then, during the LONG and BORING wait 'til de midnigh, we had to do something funny. So, we started playing "Buffalo Bill" game. I had never played it before and it was SO incredibly funny! So, basically what you have to do is to say "Buffalo Bill" without showing your teeth. Your face has to be something like that:

Here, if someone had seen me doing that, I would have lost.

And, If you say: "Ihááá"  (like cowboys do), you change the direction of the game and the person who just said "Buffalo Bill" has to say it again. There can be no mistakes! That's why it is so funny! You can't stop laughing with the other's faces!

That's my mom. She played with us. Well... She TRAIED to play, because she couldn't stop showing her teeth!

And this is me and my cousin Meggie in the second half of the long wait. My little brother took us this pictures. He said the sentences you see below the pictures and we had to make a face according to what he said. It's pretty much like acting.

And finally the big  00:00  came and the confusion of the gifts began.

OMG CHOCOLATES!!!!!!!!!

Granny gave me a bracelet

And this morning, at 10:30h, this kid was already knocking at my door so we could go downstairs and open Santa's presents.

Then, it was the time we open the presents which were under the Christmas Tree.

In my slipper was this perfume. It's my favorite. I loved it.

This is it. This is what my Christmas was about.
Truth is, after all these 17 years, I Love Chritmas even more. It has never lost the magic to me.

Hope your Christmas has been as perfect as mine.

Love you all

ONE DAY FOR CHRISTMAS!

One day for Christmas, guys!! Aren't you already with that happy and festive mood?
Red and white are everywhere! Well, the only thing missing around here is the snow. I would love to spend one, only one christmas with snow. Or, as my friend Filipa as the opportunity to have, a Chritmas at the beach, with a warm temperature and drinking a milkshake. She is in Cabo Verde, lucky girl!

My holidays without her are quite boring. I haven't been drinking coffee since she left because she always was my company in the hours after lunch. It's not funny to go without her.
But, honestly, I really need to go by myself because I'm desperate for a coffee.

Anyway, here are some more pictures yet from that film I told you about in the last post.

Hope you like them!

Don't forget to smile and be positive, happy and friendly to everyone around you!

Love, Maria.

New fotos - shopping!

Hey you! These pictures are from a film that was just developed. I was so excited for having them and they were not that good, after all. Truth is, pictures lose lots of quality when digitized into the computer, as you probably have noticed. I've got some more, I'll post them later for you.

Next week, on Tuesday, I'm going to shop with my mom. I love when she offers to come with me, because that happens very rarely. She hates to go shopping, but when we go together, we end up having a great time without boring brothers and the impatient father. Just us.
I'm looking forward to buy one of these shirts:

I wish I could buy both, but...I'm running out of money and I still have to buy some gifts to the girls, and I have no idea what to buy.

Last year I gave them night blindfolds because they were always complaining about that light my room had - and still has - in the early morning, when they sleep over. So, I guess it was the best idea EVER. And I'm afraid I'll never have another like that.

What are you going to buy to your friends? Let me know!

Love you all, xxxxxxxx
